One surreal image offers you the answers to all of yours dreams and desires: an impressive, majestic view above 11,000 feet overlooking the sea, beautiful sublime location scenery and a design where the phrase “form follows function” seems to be applied.
The master mind behind this grandiose project is Wallace E. Cunningham. This modern mansion offers 4 bedrooms, 6 baths, a two stories guest house, an infinity edge swimming pool, rooftop deck, six car garage and features a private access to Black’s Beach. The landscape was considered an essential part of the project and therefore made as one by the usage of wide glass windows. Protected by gates and nestled into the site, the white polished concrete volume dominates the sight and offers its inhabitants a luxurious lifestyle without boundaries.
This luxury house was, after a substantial price reduction, sold for $14.1 million. To date $34 million has been spent on the home and it is still not completely ready. All of the finishes and touches reflect wealth and decadence, a mansion for the ones who appreciate quality and can afford such a life.
Homesthetics Conclusion:
An expensive mansion with and exquisite view. But is this monolith worth its price and investment? If the main goal of this project was making a statement, they have definitely succeeded. The intersected volumes themselves create a sculptural work of art.
