Located on the rocky shores in Asia District of Peru, the sculptural modern vacation home is a project finished in 2011, envisioned by RRMR Arquitectos. The main facade stretches out from a moderate slope to a golf course having expansive views towards the sea on the side. Despite appearances, the sculptural modern mansion is a temporary vacation home, 95 km from Lima on the coastal desert.
The first point of the volume stretching out is marked by a large comfortable terrace with a longitudinal swimming pool, these being the core of the living spaces, core that sets the rules for the backyard landscaping as well. Small narrow strings of vegetation can be found on both sides of the plot, these green areas are actually defining the main sculptural volume, which separated from the soil seems to flow in the composition as the most important element. The volume gains his aesthetic values trough the big cantilever and the airy vibe and light feel.
What do you think about sculptural modern mansion, how would you define it?
