Claudia Danelon and Frederico Meroni are two minimalist designers who have created over time some very interesting and attractive interiors. Their studio states: ”We are product designers, dreamers and doers who want to do great work for ambitious clients”. By working with ceramic and associating some very beautiful colors and materials, they have succeeded in creating their own unique style.
This item is part of a larger collection which consists of playing with asymmetric egg-shaped cavities combined with gently curved surfaces. The objects bodies recall the softness of natural elements, while the functional components are integrated in a very sophisticated way to create a good balance between form and function.
Even if it looks like a very simple shower cabin it is also in fact a steam bath, all the technical components being integrated in the vertical column. The presence of a wooden floor leads to a sense of comfort and points out the beauty of tradition combined with modern styling. This design is based on a very simple shape, almost a graphical design. Its purpose is to give the glass a structural function enhancing the scenic effect of marble. Inspired by the way water seeps into the heart of the cave, this is an object that surprises and excites.
Homesthetics conclusion
Through these designs they have achieved something more than just strictly functional objects. They have taken their designs to the next level where normal household items meet art.
