Let`s play with our imagination a little, think about a rectangular module: most of us will think at a square, which is good; just round the edges of it, to make it look more dynamic. Now imagine two modules like that, then three, four…in any position you`d like. Pretty interesting, but imagine that that represents a piece of furniture in your living room, bedroom, pretty much anywhere in your home, because it can come in a variety of colors. To me that seems very appealing. We all like to move furniture around, to freshen up the space and to make it seem different and it`s great when the furniture is not “nailed to the floor “.
With that thought in mind we present you further on an extremely versatile modular system for both interior and exterior environments. As stated above, it can have dozens of functions, you just have to imagine them; it allows you to be free and dynamic while designing in everything, from the home environment to malls.
We can see More as Board Kitchen, a response to the never changing world and demand on ongoing flexibility of spaces and adaptability of the furniture around, in order to meet the ongoing changes in our life style.
Your imagination can play with the module for hours, days, weeks or even years depending of how dynamic you are. There is no limit to the number of ways in which these modules can be assembled and the result is never final, never permanent and can be easily changed, as well as the colors and texture of each individual module. Each module measures 45 x 45 x 5 cm, allowing you to create seats, shelves, resting platforms, displays and so much more. It personalizes the environments just by being there, knowing it can change its shape by your needs.
The central concept of this project, developed by the Italian designer, Giorgio Caporaso, was the transform-ability and his point of view has been proven in our opinion. What`s your point of view? How do you feel about it?
