Located above other homes ,literally, our modern mansion today rules the surroundings with it`s humongous volume and position impressing heavily from the pedestrian perspective view and even more from far away seeing it on the cliff illuminated in the evening.
Stepping in the home easily would be like passing trough wonderland, at any corner in every room there are things to impress or at least intrigue you, there are a lot of materials used in a very unusual style with a colour palette mainly based on blue tones. We do not know how much is related to the Blue Jay Way Street on which it sits but the tones of blue are definitely predominant trying to set the ambiance within the interiors.
On the exterior despite the big volume the home strikes the pedestrian with a sterile cold atmosphere, very much like a fortress. In the evening, at night the scene gets animated a little by lighting effects giving it some colour, accentuating swimming pools and the little vegetation that it has.
This particular dream house sits in a privileged site with both a resonating name, being on the Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood Hills ,and with a high cliff position, gaining breathtaking views and a breathtaking amount of money to be built. The interior design has been realized by a world renowned design firm, Lori Dennis.
The above story sounds really exhilarating but if you ask us the dream home is not really a dream, we can not say it`s ugly or inappropriate in some way in particular but the whole complex does not seem to fit the site nor the mix of materials and textures within the interior, everything seems mixed and matched in a weird manner. Yes everything is expensive and exquisite, maybe even breathtaking if took separately but really not that amazing in ensemble.
