Envisioned by Otto Medem de la Torriente and located in Spain, Madrid, this modern mansion has its own set of rules when it comes to composition and angles. It`s entitled El Viento which translates to ” The Wind’ -the concept having roots in this natural element most likely.
From the pedestrian point of view you will notice some unusual angles from the exterior, a step inside will change your perception though, angles become more aggressive and your orientation based on perpendicular axes drops, the home uses a labyrinth as blueprint. Interiors are really intriguing, really unpredictable and hard to follow without additional information whilst remaining clean, smooth, bold and bright, main color being the white stark.
The planes of intersection and the different floor blueprints may be oriented towards different perspective points based on the cliff slopes, the irregular shapes being generated by nature, the home just following its course. What do you think about this unusual cliff view dream mansion?
