With that thought in mind, we think, Torafu Architectes created something special, yet ordinary for our, mysterious maybe, personal daily use. Therefore we are talking about a hidden drawer behind a regular shelf, outstanding. What`s even better is that the drawer is only 23 mm (~0.9 of an inch) tall so not even one would imagine that something can be hidden there. The wooden looking handles are actually magnets used to open the drawer so it stays hidden when not in use. You can hide a multitude of things in there, from keys to jewelry money or papers, also thanks to the minimalist design and high end material and finish it can match any contemporary interior design. This is another example of what we can learn from Japanese designers.
