Inspired from the twisting, turning and thrusting shape of a fallen log and the branches associated with it, JCB architects have materialized a design that stuns us with a mesmerizing set of cantilevered volumes launched from the core structure of our dream home. The picture are not enough to express the beauty offered by this architectural object .
The limit between void and deck in these volumes are very thin emphasizing the views, smalls pieces of clear glass standing in between shelter and “wilderness”. The infinity swimming pool higher on the cliff make a statement of luxury and elegance in this master piece.
Interior experiences are controlled by staged steps, from the modest side of the entrance to the extraordinary expansive views offered by the cantilevered decks. The inner home core gathers people inside, being one of the most private area in the interior design.
On the exterior weathered wood and some dark paint are giving roots to our home, bounding it to earth and blending it in the landscape easily. The huge cantilevers are definitely emphasizing the home`s position but do you think it`s worth building such a mega structure?
